Writing and selling niche information products

Why do people not capitalise on this product? well in general they tend to think they cannot write, are not trained copywriters, don't know anything to write about, etc! the list of excuses not to write articles are endless! but is it so difficult?

If you have a hobby or passion you can write a short ebook about it, maybe you like fishing or golf, perhaps you have a passion for travel, or like walking, all you need is some interest you have knowledge about, for example: a lady decides she would like to earn extra income but unfortunately she says that because her elderly mother is disabled she cannot work and has little time to spare and because she rarely gets out has no hobbies or passions to write about! or has she? why not write about caring for the elderly and disabled, what products she uses that make life easier, once she starts writing the pages flow and very she has a niche information product she can sell on eBay etc! she could even make a small website linked to providers of aids for the Elderly and disabled, and even a newsletter and this is easy to do as there are easy to publish websites available from, for example "Site Build It" this could even improve her quality of life by having people with the same interests to exchange information with!

It is quite easy to just write and print out you information in microsoft word or even to convert it into a pdf file, see "Adobe Acrobat" so you can sell on your website for instant download, or sell it on cd at eBay there are also some good products available to help you with this process for example "Desk Top Author" or "Ebook publish Gold" both of these are good products to make writing ebook easier and more professional looking, there are also lots of hints and tips!

I am sure once you have written your first "niche" product, you will be eager to write more, once bitten by the writing bug you may decide to make it your full-time income source just working from home.
