Wisdom of old people be utilized

Time has come when we should utilize wisdom of old people. Here in India old people are ignored and even children are not taking care of them and most of the old people are living a life of frustration. Very rarely there are some old age homes, but those too are not properly maintained. The old people are just maintained and none is realizing their mental torture which they are suffering. They are given just food and lodging and then the organizers believe that they have done their duty. These people need something more. They want proper attention and at the same time they want that somebody should be there who should listen to the stories of their life, their experience and there should be people who should appreciate what they had done in life.

There should be places where these people are allowed to collect and they should also be given problems which they should solve and they should give those reports to the people and to the state. We have got so many problems. We are poor, we are unemployed, we are with low income, all the people in the family are no working, all the people are no having suitable accommodation to live in, all the people are not having proper bath rooms in their houses, all the people are not having proper toilets in their houses, all he people are no having proper bed rooms in their houses, all the people are not sending their wards to schools, to colleges, to training institutions, all the people are not taking care of their children and that is the reason some are turning drug addicts, drunkards, opium eaters or the like, some people are turning terrorists, some people are turning rioters, some people are committing sins, some people are committing crimes and some people are found committing misconducts. We are noting that there is a problem of beggars and some people are indulging in rape and abduction. All these problems are there and the state could not solve these problems. We should place these problems before the old people and their recommendations and suggestions should come in public and if suitable those should be allowed to be implemented.

We can place before them disputes for mutual finalizations where both the parties should be presented before these old people. These people shall be thrashing both the parties and there are chances some serious disputes could be solved by these old people because they had lived a life and that experience could be utilized by the disputing parties.

Old people must be properly maintained and they should not be allowed to suffer. If the children are not in a position to maintain them, they should be maintained either by the society or by the state itself and if they need some medical treatment, that too should be provided to them. They are not useless people. Their services could be utilized in the best manner because they have got experience with them and that experience could be utilized by the people.
