Walking – is the best exercise

Walking is the simplest and easiest exercise. Walking is too simple and everyone can do it easily. It is a great cardiovascular activity; walking regularly can result in a significant reduction of the heart risk factors, like high blood pressure and high cholesterol and it makes you fitter, reduces your fat or weight also make you feel less stressed.

One should try to walk at least twice a week for at least 1-2 miles. Do not push yourself too hard to start with but gradually increase the distance and try some power walking as you go along. Walking helps you shift your attitude toward health, fitness, and weight loss.

Each time you want to take a walk, think about the purpose. The purpose can be extremely simple or complex; it can focus on only you or it can involve others. The important thing is that it encourages you to continue. Try to find a safe area to walk if you can.

Some points which one should take into consideration while walking are like:

• Use a pair of comfortable shoes.
• Wear cloths in which you feel comfortable in walking.
• Be aware of the entire environment around you, never wear headphones.
• Walk with good posture by keeping your head up and shoulders back
• It’s better to walk with a Friend instead of walking alone.
