Universal Advice for Successful Passing of Exam
By: Carol Miller

An exam is something every student has once survived and therefore may be called a student. It is not only a way to assess the knowledge of an individual but also to a good way to demonstrate strong will, communication skills, ability to analyze and improvise. Though some say that being under stress is very harmful, students get prepared for their future when stress is unavoidable. Exams are just another lesson one needs to take. This article is dedicated to some strategies one may use when going at the exam.

Exam starts from preparation. There are several ways to prepare. If you studied well during the year, you just go over everything really quick and may have some rest confidently relaxing. If you were not involved in studying that deep, you may want to start acting at least a week prior the event. There will be loads of information waiting for you. It is better to divide it into pieces and proceed with each one regularly in the stipulated time. Time management will help you to get rest and study effectively. If you memorize visually better, it may be better for you to represent the information you are truing to study graphically into schemes. That would shorten the volume of information and be more helpful when reproducing. Focus on facts, and forget about the details but when reproducing you may be asked to comment and this is where details are essential. If you are 100% prepared for the exam, you may have a sound sleep but worries are not the reason to spend a sleepless night before exams. Without rest you will not be able to reproduce and analyze information properly. Appearances are deceitful but nevertheless they matter. If you come to an exam like a street guy, it will not create a favorable impression. Dress accordingly, casually. Entering the room, recall your good manners. Take your card and get started. Your head may start spinning form the strain, but this is high time to focus and get started. Carefully read the questions through. Determine the easiest as well as hardest question out of what you have and move from the easiest to the most complicated. Again, time management comes to mind. Try to work out a simple plan that will help you to complete the task. Do not get nervous and go back to the same question for a couple of times. Proof reading is great, but if you double-cross the answers, that puts your knowledge under doubt. If you feel that you are getting lost in your own answer, try to relax a bit and think of something else for a second. Recollect what you know and gather your thoughts together. No harm comes fro a little distraction. If you feel like you do not know anything, do not try to cheat or to ask for advice from your neighbor, this will get you in big trouble. Try to improvise and find the right solution.

Exam can be fun if you treat it accordingly. No lethal cases were registered during exams and this is a good sign. A disaster may happen if you are totally unprepared. But if you are ready and feel that your knees are shaking, that is the sign for you to calm down and enter the room with an optimistic smile.
