Symptoms of Hard drive failure.

You have worked overnight and all set and done for the meeting tomorrow morning. Next morning when you switched on the system, you find you system is not able to boot. To get a set back and you realized that you haven’t taken the back from past three days as you were so busy with your work. Now the next moment you scratch your head how to get back your data. But certainly it can’t be done so fast that before meeting you will get back your data. So let us see what the most common symptom of hard drive failure. If you hard drive starts making clicking sound then you are going to face the blue screen death – “Operating system not found”. “Drive not found” or some other kind of error before your hard drive dies out. There are some common sign which your hard drive shows before dying. • Clicking sound from Hard driveClicking sound is an indication of head crash or an electrical problem like burned chip. It can also be the damage to the hard drive platters • Blue Screen Death When you get a Blue Screen and when you try to boot in middle of the screen it means your Operating Systems has been damaged. It may also happen that hard drive got the bad sector on that part where operating system has been loaded. It may also happens due missing of dll’s files or partition or file structure got damaged. • Drive not formatted This error generally occur because of the partition has been corrupted, damaged, or deleted. The causes of the partition failure are many either because of power surge, viruses, re-installation of new windows or simply installation of new software sometimes causes partition failure. • Computer keeps Re-booting Because of the boot sector damage by viruses’ computer keeps booting as it get into the loop from boot sector to re-boot. • Drive Not Found This message get flashed when the operating system is not able to find the drive attached to the system, it may be either due to hard drive gone bad, or it has crashed. • System Freezes Some times system hangs while booting are accessing some files or a program, this is either due to bad sector of the hard drive or the system being used too much. • Operating system not foundThis message flash when there is a corruption in the hard drive or hard drive is unable to boot either due to crash or partition table formatted. If you notice any such problem with your hard drive then immediately switched off the system and consult data recovery service company to retrieve your data before any more damage is being done
