Our achievements are not for all

India is advancing. India is making progress. India is achieving targets. India has started competing on international level. India could lay roads, construct bridges, could lay rail lines, could establish industries, could establish schools, colleges, training institutions, could establish centers of higher studies, could establish universities, engineering and medical institutions and a part of our populations is having all these facilities and are going ahead. Similarly we are noting that some people on foot in 1947 and now they are in the skies. We have noted that people could establish decent colonies and they are living like rajas, maharajas and monarchs of yesterday.

We have noted that some people came forward as public servants and took oath that they shall serve the people, but we have seen in these six decades, they have turned rich and powerful people and now they have started working not as public servants, but as rajas, maharajas, monarchs and the imperialists. They are touching our feet before elections and we, the people are touching their feet after the elections. They are giving us some promises, we start believing in their assurances and then we vote for them and when they come in power, they miss-utilize that power and become rich within one term and then with this money they make a permanent seat in the houses for them.

We had established a democracy here in India and had accepted the old definition of democracy. We pronounced that there shall be a government of the people, by the people and for the people, but this is the paper definition. In reality we have established a democracy which could be called a government of a few, for a few and by a few. We had been suffering here under a family government which is foreign to the concept of democracy, we had here party dictatorship which is also not in tune with the concept of democracy and we had here individual autocracy which is enemy of democracy. We had been suffering here because of emergency and we had been suffering undesired wars and battles.

We have noted that some families are in the fray and they are found in party or in the other party and in spite of all allegations of scams, scandals, muddles, sale of jobs, corruption and bribes, they are before the voters and it is a biggest tragedy with the voters that they are voting them in once again in spite of all these charges, because the voters are not having alternatives with them or before them. This set of ruling people have brought wards in the fray and now these lines are not open for the people at large and they condemned to remain as voters and voters only. They are invited once in span of five years and after having their votes, they are pushed back to suffer for another term of five years or more. This has been the history of the last six decades.

Since the present form of government of a few, a few people could become rich and powerful. And remaining lot is standing where it was in 1947. They are illiterate, they are untrained, they are poor, they are unemployed, they are living in mud houses, they are living in huts, they are not having proper food, they are not having proper accommodations, they are wearing rags, they are beggars and they are standing with folded hands with the people in power. And if we go deep we shall find that these people are facing troubles before the police, before the Courts and they are mostly in jails and it is on record that rich and powerful people do not go to jails. It seems the misdeeds of rich and powerful people are ignored.

The people of India have been given to understand that all these discriminations are not man creations, but these are gifts from the side of God. If the people are poor and they remain poor since generation, it means God had not given them good luck and good destiny. The rich and powerful people never accepted that they had been keeping them poor and weak.

So the people of India are having complaints that they are not getting all the benefits for which they had been entitled to and they complain that the achievements are there, but those are for a few and not for all. We expect from the next government that they shall try to distribute the achievements in such a manner that the poor and the weak should also get their due share because they are also a part of this country and they are the most important part because with their votes, the people come to power and it is on record that the rich and powerful people seldom go to the polling booth and stand in lines along-with the poor and weak. The people who had been standing in elections had been giving out false promises to the people of India and this process must stop because we are pronouncing that by 2020 A.D. we shall take our country to the line of countries which are declaring themselves as advanced countries.
