Using dance as exercise is great for any group of people. You can dance alone in your living room or work out with your kids or a few friends. You wont even feel like youre working out because youre enjoying the music, but you can burn as many calories as you would running or riding a bike. So many people shy away from exercise because they think it has to be boring. Im here to tell you that you can have the time of your life while working out. Moving to the music will get you laughing and smiling as well as sweating and shrinking. Dance exercise can improve your self image and confidence levels, as well as your balance, coordination and heart health. You dont need any special equipment or skills to dance—anyone can do it. So put on your dancing shoes for the most fun youve ever had while working out.
