There is no exception; all people were born with a definite purpose, a definite mission to fulfill on the Earth. No matter to what philosophical school you belong, the purpose of life stays the same. We are to get prepared and follow the calling, that we carry within ourselves being yet unborn. We do not talk only about religious calling that makes men and women forget about the reality and dive deep into the sacred world of godliness and the Holy Spirit. Every human being is to become what he was destined to become since his or her birth. In the ancient times it was considered a way to heaven to fulfill the duty, but nowadays there is a lot to consider.

Every day people are to make important, vital decisions and there is a lot of influence from aside. We graduate from high-school with burning desire to go to college and study to become a professional in whatever field you want, but here one can see how many changes can happen only in a couple of months. Half a year later you sit and write some boring assignment, thinking of what a waste of time it is. Every time you sit and write a college term paper, your mind suddenly goes blank and for the hundredth time you think what else you could be doing at this moment. Having been a teenager you saw your future clearer than now. Studying does not bring any pleasure and you feel absolutely frustrated. What is the cause of such apathy? You followed advice that didn’t bring you happiness. Why did it happen? Probably, because you were distracted.

There are a lot of factors that influence your choice of a career. First of all it is lack of self-confidence. You ask for a piece of advice and follow it even though this is not a field where your heart truly lies. After such kind of “brainstorming” we get specialists that are incompetent and pathetic when it comes to their work. Advice of parents that sometimes turns into a strict order a child can’t but take it into consideration, along with hints of friends that can be jealous or just cruel, turns a child into a robot, who performs orders. Prestige is also a feature that plays an important role in this life. This is a word that can be synonymous to pride. Prestigious job along with good salary will make your presence in any house both prestigious and filling with pride. There is one more fact; effort and desire that are put to any project will make it twice successful, for it brings fame and income firstly and borderless pleasure secondly. If there is something in your life you want to create, forget about prestige and do it for yourself. There is one more point, lack of possibilities. There are talented people that can not afford college education. Of course, there are scholarships, but you are not guaranteed to get one. There will be a chance for you to get what you dream of; the most important thing is not to waste it.
