Be thankful

We should develop a habit with us that as and when some one does something for us, we should, without delay, offer our thanks to him. If we get time, we may explain to him that had he not helped us, we would have been ruined or we would have lost much which could not have been recovered by us.

We must understand that most of the people in the world and especially around us are selfish and they are trying to look after their own interest. And rarely some body comes to our aid and helps us. We ourseleves are selfish we too help others rarely. At most of the occasions we are occupied solving our own problems. therefore, we must never fail to convey our thanks to the people who have done something to us.

We have noted thast even when we are amongst strangers, and we face some trouble, somebody standing nearby immediately comes to our help. We had not asked him for help. He saw us in troubles and on humanitarian ground, he comes forward and helps us. We had met an accident and we were lying unconcious and someone passing through that way noticed that we are lying helpless. He immediately picks us up in his car and takes us to a hospital where we are treated and saved. These are the events in our life where people help us without having received any call from our side. This is the example. There are so many other occasions where strangers come and help us.

Therefore, it is oaur duty to note such events in our life and we should not fail to convey our thanks to such people and at the same time we should try to learn a lesson from their actions and we too should be ready to help the people who are in need of help and we should not wait when that fellow shall demand help from our side. This is a good habit, and we should adopt this habit in our life. We are social animals and therefore, we should be social and must be ready to help others because all are children of God and actually all are members of one and the same family.
