5 Reasons to Write Your Own Articles By: Gary Kite
I was searching the internet a couple of days ago, looking for information on writing articles to promote my online business, and ran across a product, that at first was tempting. It was a package of prewritten articles. If you bought the package, you could treat the articles as your own material. You could just change the author name and submit it as your own or you could change the title or content. It was tempting at first. It can be difficult to write regular articles, especially ones that readers enjoy and find useful. I thought of how nice it would be to have 200 prewritten articles at my finger tips, ready to submit as my own, with the promise that traffic to my sites would explode. But it never seemed right and I decided to not buy the package. Here are 5 reasons I believe you should write your own articles: 1. It’s your business. Put genuine effort into building it. Success or failure should depend on your efforts. 2. Plagiarism is plagiarism. 3. Doing the research to write an article is very rewarding. 4. The secret to success in a MLM type business is teaching your team to duplicate your efforts. Teach them to work hard at their business. 5. Integrity. One of the reasons for publishing articles is to build your credibility as an expert in your field. If readers sense you are using a prewritten article, you instantly lose credibility. Even though it can be difficult to write articles on a regular basis, it is well worth the effort to write your own. I would rather submit one article every few months that is genuinely mine, than one per week that I did not honestly write.
